Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Perrysburg Medical Center. The role focuses on assessing patients, prioritizing needs, and delivering high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced OR environment.

You will collaborate with the care team, participate in pre- and post-operative care, and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients undergoing surgery.

Qualifications

• RN knowledge and clinical nursing skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Strong patient assessment and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment; observe the surgical team.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with team members.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
