Job summary

SCA Health in Greensboro, NC is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will join a team that emphasizes clinical quality, integrity and service excellence to support patients and physicians.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing and an active RN license in good standing. BLS is required within 90 days; ACLS and PALS (if pediatric care is included) within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if pediatric care is included.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
