Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on promoting the mission, assessing patient status, and developing individualized perioperative plans of care within a multidisciplinary team.

We prefer candidates with OR or medical/surgical nursing experience, a current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable. A specialty perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
