Job summary

SCA Health in Raleigh, NC is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to support perioperative care. You will assess patient status, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an accredited RN program graduate with an active license, and BLS/ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is involved) certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license.
• 1 year OR/medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote SCA Health's mission, vision, and values.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
