Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS required if pediatric care is included in scope within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current state nursing licensure

BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification

ACLS within 90 days or current ACLS certification

PALS certification if pediatric scope

Perioperative nursing certification preferred
