Norwalk Hospital Association is seeking a Perioperative Educator to lead educational programming and staff development within the Nursing Education department. The role focuses on clinical knowledge transfer, staff coaching, and quality improvement across perioperative services.

You will collaborate with management to design and evaluate training, support patient care standards, and mentor nursing staff and students in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifikationen

• Masters degree required or equivalent in nursing or education.
• Proven ability to develop and evaluate staff education programs.
• Experience in nursing education and staff development preferred.

• Educational Programming: assess staff educational needs and plan/implement programs.
• Coaches staff with current literature and trends; update unit standards and procedures.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and mentors staff in clinical expertise.
• Supports interdisciplinary patient care and quality outcomes.
• Facilitates educational programs for students and core staff.
• Participates in professional development and committee work as assigned.
• Assist with pre-admission testing and surgical prep documentation as needed.
• Other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with requirements.
