US Fertility, part of a national network, seeks a Per Diem Weekend OR/PACU RN for IVF Florida in Margate, FL. This role involves on-call weekend shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with rotating holidays, and supports patients through preop, intraop, and PACU care.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS/ACLS, 2–3 years PACU/OR experience, IV proficiency, and strong assessment and communication skills. Competitive benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years of operating room or PACU experience preferred.
• Proficiency with IVs required.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Good communication and accuracy in documenting care.

Responsabilités

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Per Diem Weekend OR/PACU RNto join our team at IVF Florida in Margate, Florida.

• Schedule: On call/as needed weekends (with a start time of 7:00 AM), and rotating holidays (one major and one minor holiday).

In this role, the Per Diem Weekend OR/PACU RN will:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2-3 years of clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with IV's required
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
