US Fertility in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking an OR/PACU RN on a per diem basis to support Shady Grove Fertility. You will perform preoperative assessments, deliver anesthesia-related care, and provide comfort to patients and families while collaborating with a large nationwide network of physicians.

The role emphasizes meticulous clinical assessment, independent judgment, and strong communication skills, with schedule flexibility including every other weekend and a holiday.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 2–3 years of operating room or PACU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer.
• Independent judgment and clear communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial preoperative assessment and plan care.
• Identify patient care problems and develop care plans.
• Provide comfort and psychological support to patients and families.
• Care for patients receiving anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications as directed via IV and other routes.

We have an immediate opening for anOR/PACU RN to join our team atShady Grove FertilityinSandy Springs, Georgia.

• Schedule: Per diem; Schedule varies as needed, Every other weekend and one holiday a year

In this role, theOR/PACU RN will:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
