Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation of $38 to $46 per hour, commensurate with experience.

This role offers growth within a nationally respected organization while staying closely connected to patients and teams you support daily. You will collaborate with more than 200 physicians nationwide to deliver safe, compassionate perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
