Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an OnSite Specialist in Chicago, IL to support surgical procedures through equipment management and immediate troubleshooting. The role covers preop, intraop, and postop stages, with a focus on device availability, performance, and accuracy of data reporting.

Applicants should have OR experience, CRCST certification within 6 months, and strong communication skills; travel up to 10% is possible to cover multiple accounts within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications preferred.
• HSPA CRCST Certification within 6 months of start date and annual renewal.
• Operating Room experience and knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures and techniques preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in high-stress, demanding situations.
• Willingness to provide coverage on multiple shifts and potential overnight travel

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
• Anticipates related device needs of the OR staff and surgeon during procedures.
• Is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Stryker equipment and related devices.
• Records and reports data metrics related to job functions on a monthly basis.
• Maintains up-to-date account information and ensures high levels of service; may require on-call coverage and travel.
