Job summary
Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room in Baltimore, MD. You will support daily OR operations, staffing, patient flow, and staff development, collaborating with the Nurse Manager and surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
The role focuses on leading OR nursing staff, advancing regulatory readiness, and improving department efficiency while aligning scheduling and reporting with leadership expectations.
Qualifications
- BSN required and Maryland RN license.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 2+ years operating room nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of leadership/management experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily OR operations, staffing, and patient flow.
- Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff.
- Support regulatory and survey readiness.
- Improve patient satisfaction, workflow, and departmental efficiency.
- Assist Nurse Manager with scheduling, reporting, and administrative duties.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the surgical team.
