Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager – OR in Sacramento, CA. This onsite, full-time role oversees daily OR operations, staffing, and resources to maintain patient safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Main OR nursing, leadership history, and a California RN license with BLS. Strong coordination with physicians and teams is essential for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• BLS certification at hire.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OR staff and daily operations.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain survey readiness and Joint Commission compliance.
• Support emergency preparedness and hospital response planning.
• Assist with staffing, budget, and utilization management.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe care.
