Midwest Vision Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards. The role covers preop assessments, perioperative care, and collaboration with surgeons and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient understanding of disease and need for surgical intervention.
• Perform perioperative teaching to patient and family.
• Provide appropriate patient care across the age span in the perioperative setting.
• Administer medications safely.
• Prepare operating room and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain equipment functionality and manage emergency equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and patient satisfaction assessments.
