Job summary

Franklin Surgery Center is hiring an OR Nurse Manager to lead the perioperative team, oversee the operating room, and ensure safe, efficient patient care. The role emphasizes leadership, staff scheduling, and collaboration with physicians and administration.

The position requires OR nursing experience, RN licensure in TN, BLS/ACLS, and familiarity with EMR and scheduling systems. This is a full-time role with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TN required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Previous leadership or management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical setting preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with orthopedic surgical procedures preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage staff, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and surgical scheduling systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the operating room and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Provide leadership and support to the surgical team, coordinate staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and collaborate with physicians and administration.
