Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Supervisor - RN Operating Room for weekend coverage at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supervises OR nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and ensures adherence to protocols during day-to-day operations.

This position requires a BSN, AZ RN licensure, BLS certification, and magnet certification within one year. The weekend schedule comprises 3 x12-hour shifts with a focus on Stroke/OR patient care standards.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
• Arizona RN license or eligible to practice in Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Must obtain a magnet standards certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates patient care and staff development.
• Manages unit staffing, onboarding, performance, coaching, and development.
• Ensures compliance with policies, budget, and quality initiatives.
• Directs nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to implement medical plans of care.
