Job summary

Martin County Hospital District in Stanton, TX seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative care. You will perform pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia tasks, document care, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a Texas RN license, CPR/BLS, PALS/ACLS, CNOR preferred, and at least 3 years in an OR setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas required.
• PALS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient.
• Plan, provide and document care including pre-operative, post anesthesia care, discharge planning, teaching.
• Ensure care is provided in a safe environment through supervision of staff.
• Administer medications according to policy including IVs and blood components.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with patients, families, and medical staff.
