Martin County Hospital District in Stanton, Texas, seeks an experienced RN for the Operating Room to manage total nursing care for patients, including pre-operative, intraoperative and post-anesthesia stages. You will plan, implement and document care, educate patients and families, and ensure a safe surgical environment.

The role requires an TX RN license, CPR/BLS (PALS/ACLS preferred) and OR experience. CNOR is a plus, with emphasis on teamwork with anesthesia and physicians and adherence to

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing theories and effective oral and written communications.
• Current Registered Nurse license certified by the State of Texas; PALS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.
• Three years’ experience as a Professional RN in an Operating Room setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Mansioni

• Provide total nursing care for assigned patients incl. assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Plan, provide and document care including pre-operative, post-anesthesia care, discharge planning and education for patients and families.
• Ensure safe environment and supervise subordinate personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and effective patient relations.
• Support anesthesia and physicians in patient care related to procedures and education.
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control policies.
