Martin County Hospital District in Texas is seeking a professional Registered Nurse for PRN coverage in a state-of-the-art facility. The RN administers medications, develops and assesses care plans, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes operating room experience; CNOR preferred.

Licensing through the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Compact is required. ACLS within 90 days; PALS preferred.

Formación

• Must have a license to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nursing or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS is preferred.
• Two (2) years experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in an operating room environment preferred. CNOR preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients, develop a care plan, implement and evaluate the care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
• Perform technical services in a cross-functional mode to comprehensively serve patient needs.
• Under the direction of the Laboratory, assume responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
