Job summary

Martin County Hospital District in Texas is seeking a Full-time Professional Registered Nurse to join the operating room team. The RN will perform assessments, develop plans of care, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care.

Candidates should have a Texas nursing license, BLS on hire, ACLS within 90 days, and CNOR preferred. Two years of OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of OR nursing experience preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Current Texas RN license and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, develop plans of care, implement and evaluate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians in accordance with current nursing practice.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, accurate delivery of care.
• Provide technical services in a cross-functional mode to serve patient needs, including Laboratory duties.
