Job summary

ConnectedHealth in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse for a 13-week temp-to-perm contract. You will coordinate patient care, maintain a sterile environment, and support the surgical team during procedures.

The role requires an active NM RN license (or compact license) and BLS/ACLS, with CNOR a plus. At least 1 year of recent OR circulator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license (or compact license).
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification a plus.
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and workflow as the OR circulator.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes during surgery.
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other team members.
