Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in Live Oak, Texas. This 13-week contract position demands collaboration with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate is an RN with current license, BLS and ACLS, and prior OR circulator experience. The shift runs from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call requirements; ARMStaffing offers health benefits, onboarding support, and travel amenities.

Qualifications

• Experience as an operating room nurse in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be an RN with an active license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Must have prior OR circulator experience and be willing to rotate on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and manage instruments.
• Monitor vitals and anesthesia response during surgery.
• Assist in orienting and training new OR staff as needed.
