Qualifications

• Must have ADN or BSN degree. RN license active and in good standing in NM or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred or required based on services.
• Experience 1–2 years as OR Circulator preferred; rural/critical access hospital experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patient safety; verify identity, site, consent, and history.
• Prepare OR with equipment, supplies, and instruments; maintain aseptic technique.
• Manage intraoperative care: handle specimens, document events, coordinate with anesthesia and staff.
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with anesthesia to ensure stability.
• Document nursing care and implant usage in the electronic health record.
