Job summary

UCHealth Eastview Medical Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced RN to join the OR team. This onsite, full-time role supports a busy surgical service and requires licensure as a Registered Nurse with BLS, and OR nursing experience.

You will perform circulating and scrub functions, ensure safety checklists, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the surgical team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; CNOR preferred.
• 6 months OR nursing experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulating functions before surgery: set up environment, review records, ensure safety checklists.
• Performs circulating functions during surgery: monitor patient, document interventions, manage room traffic.
• Performs scrub functions: prepare and handle instruments, assist in counts.
• Provide nursing care to high acuity surgical patients in a technically complex setting.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
