This role emphasizes patient safety, coordination of care before, during, and after procedures, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and staff in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Two day shifts with on-call coverage are available, offering professional growth and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of operating room experience as a registered nurse.
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Perform preoperative assessments and verify readiness for surgery.
• Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Ensure necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor adherence to sterile technique and patient safety protocols.
• Document surgical procedures, patient status, and nursing interventions accurately.
• Advocate for patients throughout all phases of the perioperative experience.
• Participate in on-call coverage as part of the regular schedule.
