Job summary

UCHealth in Englewood, CO seeks an experienced OR nurse to provide direct patient care in a surgical setting. You will prepare the operating room, assist during procedures, and maintain a safe environment before, during, and after surgery.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS (and CPR), with CNOR preferred and at least 6 months OR experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship. This is an onsite, full-time position with shift: Days and a pay range of $37.06–$57.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS required; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum 6 months OR nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship.
• BLS/CPR card valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulating functions before surgery: prep environment, review records, ensure prerequisites.
• Performs circulating functions during surgery: monitor patient, document interventions, control room traffic.
• Performs scrub functions: instrument handling and counts with circulating nurse.
• Provide nursing care to high acuity surgical patients in a technically complex environment.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
