Job summary

Mountain West Surgical Center in Utah seeks an Operating Room Nurse to join an ambulatory surgery center, providing circulating or scrub support. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality patient care with staffing support and advanced resources.

You will operate under our value-driven culture, ensuring smooth transitions and rigorous documentation. The job requires nursing licensure, 1+ year OR experience, BCLS and ACLS; PALS and CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment.
• BCLS, ACLS; PALS preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the OR and anticipate need.
• Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Use proper body mechanics when moving patients to stretchers and tables.
• Manage patient care and medications, including anesthesia support.
• Review charts for completeness per documentation protocols.
