Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for the Spine and Neuro Operating Room. The role coordinates case flow, supervises OR staff, and serves as a clinical resource to ensure high-quality patient care across shifts.

The supervisor collaborates with physicians and interprofessional teams to optimize throughput and outcomes. The position requires an RN with acute care experience, strong communication, and leadership skills; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a specialized diploma.
• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• BSN or higher education is strongly preferred and certification on unit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cases for Spine and Neuro Service and supervise staff on the unit.
• Lead daily operations of the designated unit and act as clinical resource and mentor.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care plans and ensure timely patient throughput and safety.
• Monitor staffing, approve overtime when needed, and support professional development.
