Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a professional nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, addressing the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients served by Jefferson Health.

The RN develops care plans with patients and designated care partners, collaborates with inter-professional teams, and participates in safety and quality improvement activities while honoring cultural beliefs and values.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BSN degree preferred within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver patient-centered care.
• Reviews and addresses learning needs of patients and families; provides education.
• Uses information systems to document care and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement committees and initiatives.
