Job summary

Shriners Children’s Spokane is seeking an OR/Anesthesia Technician to support perioperative care in a PRN, per diem role in Spokane. The position emphasizes preparation and maintenance of anesthesia carts, intraoperative support, and efficient OR turnover. No weekends or nights, with opportunities to assist in supply chain tasks.

Required is a High School/GED and some surgery department experience. Preferred is OR theory knowledge and supply chain exposure in a pediatric setting.

• Some experience in surgery department.

Responsibilities

• Preoperatively prepares the anesthesia work station and ensures carts are stocked as directed by the Chief of Anesthesia/Perioperative Manager.
• Intraoperatively maintains the anesthesia work station and assists anesthesiologists with procedures.
• Keeps the OR workroom neat, organized, and stocked; performs supply chain duties as assigned.
• Assists with OR turnovers, specimen delivery, and opening of sterile items; may transport post recovery patients.
