The Ohio State University Optometry Clinic is seeking an Optometry Patient Referral Coordinator 2 to manage incoming and outgoing referrals for main campus and satellite locations. You will track referrals, determine scheduling needs, and ensure secure handling of medical records within CareLink, eFax, and other methods.

Responsibilities include creating patient accounts, updating records, and communicating effectively with patients and clinic staff.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

Mansioni

• Manage incoming and outgoing patient referrals.
• Determine patient scheduling needs and create patient accounts.
• Schedule internal and external appointments.
• Maintain and update electronic health records with PHI securely.
• Coordinate with Patient Services, Medical Records, and clinic faculty.
