Job summary

Total Vision LLC in Campbell, CA is hiring a friendly patient services specialist to greet guests, perform pretesting, and support doctors during exams. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, transcribe messages, and relay health and ocular history to the doctor.

Responsibilities also include assisting with blood pressure checks, NCT, color and stereo testing, autoperimetry, contact lens training, and maintaining clean equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in the Ophthalmic/Optometric/medical industry is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet incoming patients and take them back for pretesting.
• Answer telephones, schedule patient appointments, and transcribe messages.
• Perform pretesting including blood pressure, NCT, color and stereo tests, and autoperimetry.
• Relay pertinent health/ocular history to the doctor.
• Conduct contact lens insertion/removal training; maintain supplies.
• Maintain and clean equipment and doctor’s lanes.
