Indian Health Service is seeking a licensed Doctor of Optometry to provide comprehensive eye care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for a diverse patient population. You will develop treatment plans, prescribe corrective lenses and medications, and deliver emergency ocular care in various settings within Native communities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AC OEO-accredited program.
• Current full and unrestricted optometry license to practice in the U.S.
• Passing NBEO examinations and licensure in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive optometric examinations, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
• Provide emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Deliver primary eye care and manage ocular diseases.
