The Indian Health Service seeks an optometrist to join a Federal healthcare team. You will provide comprehensive primary eye care, perform exams, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, and manage emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

This position requires Doctor of Optometry, NBEO, full state licensure, and eligibility for hospital privileges; relocation or recruitment incentives may be authorized; on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Optometry from an accredited program.
• Licensure: NBEO passing score and full state license.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive ocular examinations and diagnose/treat eye diseases.
• Provide primary eye care and emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage a full range of optometric duties including exam, diagnosis, and treatment.
