The Indian Health Service in Riverside, CA seeks an Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care, including exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular diseases, and emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Requirements include a Doctor of Optometry degree, NBEO exams, and a current license to practice in the United States; a residency or equivalent experience is preferred for certain postings.

Formación

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Passing NBEO examinations and holding a current, full license to practice optometry in the U.S.
• Residency or 1 year of professional experience equivalent to GS-12 level.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the full range of professional optometric duties, including eye examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the visual system.
• Provide comprehensive primary eye care and emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye diseases and manage ocular conditions.
