Qualifikationen

• Education: Doctor of Optometry from an accredited program.
• Licensure: NBEO passing score and full, unrestricted optometry license in a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or territory.
• GS-12: one year residency or one year of professional experience at GS-11 level.
• Citizenship/Service: U.S. Citizenship required; selective service for males; background investigations required.

• Perform full range of optometric duties: exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye diseases and conditions.
• Provide comprehensive primary eye care, including ocular disease management and treatment.
• Provide emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
