Warby Parker is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join an affiliated independent practice adjacent to a Warby Parker store. You’ll deliver high-quality exams, partner with the store team to grow the eye exam business, and educate patients on eyewear options while maintaining detailed medical records.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration with leadership, ongoing CE, and opportunities to expand skills beyond the exam lane within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry licensed in the practicing state.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
• Business-minded with results-driven approach.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Knowledge of new technology and continuous learning.
• Not excluded from government health programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations per standards.
• Collaborate with store team to grow the eye exam business at the location.
• Prescribe eyewear and educate patients on options.
• Share knowledge and coach the team to support patients throughout the journey.
• Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory compliance.
• Stay licensed and meet CE/state requirements.
• Act as a brand ambassador within the community.
• Pursue growth opportunities to expand clinical and business skills.
• Perform other tasks to ensure exceptional patient experience.
