LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Associate Optometrist to lead clinical care and support the store team in delivering high-quality eye care. You will perform optometric protocols, support medical and pre/post-op care, and collaborate with MOD, SMM, and staff to drive patient outcomes.

The position emphasizes KPI management, exceptional patient service, and ongoing professional development within a supportive, patient-focused environment at LensCrafters in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree required.
• Commitment to quality patient care.
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry, including Billing and Coding.
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Solid Organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality Optometric care by performing clinical protocols.
• Supports medical practice, referral care, and pre/post-op surgical support (if applicable).
• Partners with MOD, SMM & team to maximize growth and KPI management.
• Places patient first and delivers excellent service.
• Maintains licensure and Continuing Education requirements.
• Trains and guides team members; provides constructive feedback.
