LensCrafters, Birmingham, AL, seeks an Associate Optometrist to lead clinical care, partnering with the MOD and store team to deliver high-quality eye care and patient service.

The role requires a Doctor of Optometry, strong communication, and a commitment to medical optometry. You will support referral care and pre/post-op processes, with opportunities for growth and professional development in a dynamic retail eye-care setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry, licensed to practice
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry, including Billing and Coding
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology
• Strong communicator & listener
• Problem solving ability
• Solid Organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Ensures executional excellence & winning results with store leadership
• Manages KPI targets with high accountability
• Maintains recognition of LensCrafters as a medical eyecare provider in the community
• Collaborates with leaders across the organization and local market
• Centers patient experience by delivering excellent service
• Meets or exceeds KPI expectations through teamwork
• Explains eye exams and uses tools to educate patients on vision and health
• Ensures doctor-patient relationships and appropriate care pathways
