Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, assess ocular health, and counsel patients on vision care. The role emphasizes patient education and building lasting relationships within the practice.

You will diagnose and manage refractive errors and ocular conditions, prescribe lenses and medications, and coordinate with staff for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision testing.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Perform patient interviews to assess health and ocular history.
• Instructs and advises patients on remediation options and discusses next steps with staff.
• Generate patient loyalty and promote Acuity Eyecare Group values.
• Diagnose sight problems and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery follow-ups.
• Educate patients on eye health, lens options, and when to schedule exams.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to opticians and sales staff.
