Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation seeks an Optometrist to join our Central Pennsylvania network on a part-time or full-time basis (3–4 days per week). You will provide eye care to residents in long-term care facilities across Harrisburg and nearby towns.

The position offers a production-based compensation with a $625 daily minimum and $800+ daily potential, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• OD degree required.
• State professional license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TPA certification/Legend Drug Certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use email and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and disorders of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in the EMR system.
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities to treat patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work part-time or full-time (3-4 days per week) in Central Pennsylvania, with facilities located throughout the region, including Harrisburg, Sunbury, and more.

Updated Compensation

• Oppotunity to earn $800+ per day via production with a $625 daily minimum.
• $8k Sign On Bonus available at 4 days per week. Prorated for fewer days.

• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
