Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking an Optometrist to cover the greater Cincinnati-Dayton, OH area on a part-time or full-time basis (2-4 days per week). The role offers flexible scheduling, mobile treatment across nursing facilities, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Examinations include general optometry with a focus on seniors in long-term care settings, with full support and a proprietary EMR system.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email and learn healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders; manage diseases of the visual system.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in EMR.
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work Part-Time or Full-time (2-4 days per week) covering the greater Cincinnati-Dayton, OH area.

Updated Compensation

• Oppotunity to earn $700+ per day via production with a $625 daily minimum.
• $8k Sign On Bonus available at 4 days per week. Prorated for fewer days.

Responsibilities

The Optometrist will provide general optometry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
