Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation seeks a full-time Optometrist to serve residents in northern and central New Jersey, traveling to nursing homes and long-term care facilities across Jersey City, Ridgewood, Somerset, Edison and nearby towns.

You will provide comprehensive eye care, diagnose refractive and ocular diseases, document in our EMR system, and enjoy strong earning potential with a $625 daily minimum, $800+ daily production, and a $10k sign-on bonus. No evenings or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• State professional license required.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and document in the EMR system.

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work full-time (5 days per week) in Northern & Central New Jersey, with facilities located throughout the region, including Jersey City, Ridgewood, Somerset, Edison, Ewing, Monroe Township, Eatontown, and more.

Updated Compensation

• Oppotunity to earn $800+ per day via production with a $625 daily minimum.
• $10k Sign On Bonus available at 5 days per week. Prorated for fewer days.

Responsibilities

The Optometrist will provide general optometry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• State professional license
• Valid driver's license
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.
