HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to provide on-site optometry services in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities in Southeast Massachusetts. The role includes daily travel to facilities with a flexible schedule and the potential for part-time or full-time employment.

Competitively compensated with uncapped earning potential and a $625 daily minimum, plus full benefits for full-time staff, mileage reimbursement and robust administrative support.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (OD) required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• TPA certification/Legend Drug Certificate required.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, the internet and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in the EMR system.
• Mobile model requires daily travel to facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work Part-Time or Full-time (2-5 days per week) in Southeast Massachusetts (work available in the Norfolk, Plymouth, and Bristol county areas).

• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
