Job summary

Responsibilities include diagnosing refractive and ocular conditions, maintaining EMR documentation, and daily travel to facilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• State professional license required.

• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders related to age-related illnesses.
• Examine, diagnose, treat and manage eye diseases and related conditions.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation in EMR.

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work part-time or full-time (3-4 days per week) in Central Pennsylvania, with facilities located throughout the region, including Harrisburg, Sunbury, and more.

Updated Compensation:

• Oppotunity to earn $800+ per day via production with a $625 daily minimum.
• $8k Sign On Bonus available at 4 days per week. Prorated for fewer days.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
