Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to support doctors with initial testing and patient flow. You will help in preliminary testing and patient intake, ensuring accurate insurance verification and smooth communication across teams.

Strong preference for prior ophthalmic experience and a background in medical office settings. This full-time role requires flexibility with office hours and travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year interacting with customers/patients.
• Background check clearance as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors and managers.
• Answer inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
