Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. The role involves performing initial testing with optical equipment to prepare patients for exams and ensuring precise data collection for clinicians.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a customer-facing role, strong computer skills, and a commitment to HIPAA and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience interacting with customers/patients
• Medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred
• Must provide identity and right to work in the United States
• HIPAA privacy and security understanding preferred

Responsibilities

• Enhance the Total Patient Experience by delivering quality medical support
• Follow HIPAA and company policies in all interactions
• Maintain efficient testing workflows with ophthalmic equipment
• Operate instrument suites (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT)
• Assist with general office duties and keep a positive team environment
• Commit to scheduling that supports the business and patient needs
