Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the patient journey from check-in to exam. You will use optical equipment for initial testing and help prepare patients for the optometrist's exam. Strong attention to detail and a patient-first attitude are essential.

Experience in medical offices is preferred, with ophthalmic exposure highly valued. You will work in a standard office/clinical setting, with occasional travel to other locations as needed; proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent education/experience.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering the Total Patient Experience and build relationships with patients.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and HIPAA requirements.
• Operate optical testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow scripts for testing procedures and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused work environment.
• Support general office duties as assigned by the manager and meet varying schedules.
