Grene Vision Group in Wichita, KS is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to assist the physician with preliminary testing, communicate clearly with patients, and help manage exam flow in a busy clinic.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; COA/COT is preferred but not required. Proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office, HIPAA compliance, and a patient‑focused, reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare patients for exams and document data in EMR.
• Maintain exam rooms and restock supplies.
• Observe eye conditions and perform diagnostic tests.
• Open and close exam rooms.
• Record vital signs as required.
