Job summary

A Plus Optique is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist the optometrist in delivering high-quality patient care during visits. You will handle pre-test testing, operate optical instruments, enter data into Revolution EMR, and support the clinical team throughout appointments.

Responsibilities include exceptional customer service, maintaining clean exam areas, training new contact lens wearers, managing stock of lenses, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring all payments and paperwork are

• Experience or ability to operate optical testing equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to enter data accurately into EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during patient encounters.
• Greet patients, maintain a professional attitude, and thank them on exit.
• Operate testing equipment and upload results to Revolution EMR.
• Input data from Pre-test into the digital exam in Revolution EMR.
• Maintain stock of trial lenses and distribute new lenses.
• Schedule post-ops and follow-ups; handle referrals and authorizations.
• Train new contact lens wearers and ensure proper care procedures.
• Ensure copays and fitting fees are collected before services.
• Keep Pre-test, Examination, and Contact Lens rooms clean throughout the day.
