The Eye Doctors in Leavenworth, KS is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist optometrists with pre-exam testing and to support a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will handle optical equipment and run initial tests to prepare patients for exams.

Qualifications include 1+ year in customer-facing roles, preferred ophthalmic experience, and ability to lift and operate equipment safely. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within EyeCare Partners

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Practice urgency at all times, valuing patients' and doctors' time and schedule.
• Operate equipment such as lensometers, autorefractors, retinal cameras, visual field devices, GDX or OCT as required.
• Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos, visual fields, visual activity, etc.).
• Assist with general office duties and cleaning as assigned by the manager.
• Create a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused.
• Adhere to hours that meet business needs, including potential weekends or schedule changes.
